I printed my e-mail and drove to Wal-mart
walked to the online pick up desk in the back of the store(no one there)
arrive at 12:40AM pushed the help screen
after 8 minutes of waiting someone to show up a store employee took my e-mail scanned the UPC code and said there was no location show in his computer and left to look for my package
5 minutes later another employee asked if I was being helped and went to assist in the great package hunt
about 3 minutes later another employee asked if I was being helped and went on the hunt
(she said she had see it come in)
after a couple more minutes all 3 employees come back and say they can't find it but are continuing the hunt. At this point in time I say "just refund the entire order and I will order from AMAZON"
I am told only a supervisor and do that, I told them to go find one:
The entire order was refunded to me at 13:08. around a half hour after I walked up to a EMPTY COUNTER.
one of the employees said the ready to pick up notices are sent out automatically as soon the package is delivered, NOT when it is put on shelf for customer pickup.
appears to be a procedure issue in the way notices are sent out
I have had issues with pickup at this store before; but usually way on my way in 10 minutes
